Chipped or Broken Teeth

Chipped or broken teeth are one of the most common dental emergencies. They are usually not painful chips, but can be quite irritating to the tongue. These can easily be repaired with a simple white filling. If the tooth is severely broken down, a crown may be recommended.

If there is pain from the break, then the crack may have gone into the nerve. For such teeth a root canal or extraction might be recommended.
